San Nicolás del Real Camino
There is a small grocery store near the Albergue Laganares. Summer only.
The brick church is typical of the area, built by Moorish craftsmen who stayed on after the reconquest, in the style which became known as mudéjar.
Soon after San Nicolás you leave Palencia and enter León.
