El Ganso
Beware of Ruta de Oro signs hereabouts and do NOT turn right to Rabanal Viejo (at a Y junction 4 km after El Ganso).
The first bar on the corner is the Cowboy bar and with its Americana/Cowboy décor is a bit of a Camino icon. El Ganso is a good place to take a rest before the climb up to Rabanal. However, there are other options including the bar next door to the Cowboy bar and a nice shop with a garden area to rest. The shop is just on your way out of El Ganso.
