PLAIN: Previously a there was restaurant and a bar were available but both have now closed down and no new buyers appear in prospect.
DIRECTIONS: Note for walkers: the path from Riego to Molinaseca involves some steep descents. Again walking sticks or a staff are essential. The alternate route on the road is substantially longer (2.2 km) and while pretty it is not as stunning as the main Camino but again may well be a safer option if you do not have walking sticks or a staff.
