If you prefer staying in the countryside rather than the town then this may be for you. However, its modern but basic style is not for me. For me Os Chacotes has the feel of a sports resort rather than a pilgrim's hostel and it is 1km to the nearest shops or restaurants in Palas de Rei itself.
