HISTORY: Village with an important archaeological site.
DIRECTIONS: At the end of the village the camino turns left uphill. To get to Olmas and its albergue continue on this road.
DIRECTIONS: From the limestone ridge past Atapuerca, shortly after a quarry with a transmitter mast, there is a choice of two routes. Both are waymarked. The southern route has been developed by the Amigos del Camino de Santiago de Burgos, avoiding main roads. Villalval - superb Roman fountain in village 30 m off the camino.
