La Portela de Valcarce
You can take a break at the large truck stop but I prefer to walk a few hundred metres further and take a break in Portela itself. However, there is often a fruit store in front of the truck stop which is worth a perusal for some fresh fruit. The truck stop is very busy, and you need to take extreme care when crossing the road towards Portela itself.
