Restaurante Asador el Tremendo has a pilgrim menu and is popular with pilgrims. Bar behind farmacia also does meals. Shops and several bars.

Cycle shop, Cyclos Cizur

The route from Cizur to Puente de la Reina crosses a mountain ridge (Alto de Perdón) with a line of wind turbines and silhouettes of pilgrims. The descent has recently been improved, but walking sticks are still essential.

Cizur Menor has been home to a pilgrim's hostel since 1135 when it became base for Order of Knights of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem (whose emblem is a Maltese Cross). The monastery they found was finally closed in 1836 during the desamortización. However, happily in recent times, the order's modern-day successors have setup one of the two fine albergues that service Cizur Menor.

Cizur Menor is popular stopping point for those who do not like staying in large cities during their Camino or those who choose Pamplona as the starting point for their Camino and wish to get a start on the day they arrive.

The plain betwen Cizur Menor and the Sierra del Perdón is thought to be the site of the decisive battle between Charlemagne and the African Saracen King Aigoland.
