This maybe your first opportunity for breakfast. Pensión Kilómetro 15 is often very busy and without a great choice. 30 metres further through the underpass is Hotel Amenal which in the summer is open from 06:00 and offers wider and better breakfast offering.

New Café/Bar: About 10 metres before the hotel, but in my experience, it’s small, often overwhelmed, and has limited breakfast options.

Hotel Café/Bar: My preferred stop is the café/bar inside the small hotel at Amenal, which:

Opens at 7am in winter and 6am in summer.

Is a good first breakfast stop if you’re leaving Pedrouzo early for the pilgrim’s mass.
