DIRECTIONS: About 1 km out of Saint-Jean, the route leaves the D933 and turns right over a river, the Nive de Arnéguy, then follows a quiet country road to the Ventas: once duty-free shops. One has a bar and is open early. A good footpath brings you to Arnéguy itself, the border bridge and then via Ondarolle. This follows a quiet road, rejoining the main route at Valcarlos.
