DIRECTIONS: Take care here. The road through the village is very busy with many fast moving heavy vehicles.

DIRECTIONS: The next stretch of the camino consists largely of a waymarked forest path that passes a monument to a group of local people executed during the Spanish Civil War. Cyclists can take the road route to Valdefuentes, a 8.5 km climb to the Alto de la Pedraja. There is the gothic chapel of Santiago (locked) in a rural setting by the Rio Roblegardo.
